(1 Day Sentosa Itinerary)
The small country of Singapore never could boast of big Resorts and Theme Parks some years back, and here we are now with a whole island of Sentosa that’s now an ultimate tourist destination in itself.
This island of Sentosa has in store something for everyone ranging from Theme Park, Beautiful Beaches to Fine Restaurants. You can opt to spend a day or two here or the whole vacation in this action-packed island.
Here is a quick plan if you want to cover it all in one day.
9 am – Get to the Sentosa Island
If you are wondering, how you would get to the Sentosa Island, you will be happy to know you can choose how you want to reach here, your choices being walking through Sentosa Broadwalk, taking the Cable Car, driving in using taxi or Grab, cycle into the island or Public Transport using the Sentosa Express skytrain.
9:45 am – Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
It opens at 10am, reach on time to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum to get the tickets. It’s not just about the wax figures here at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. It offers various types of experiences like a boat ride, IIFA awards experience, VR Racing and Marvel 4D Experience. 12pm – Walk to the Siloso Beach for some food
Head to Siloso Beach to catch up on your lunch. There are some restaurants bistro style, along the beach. Catch on some great food here overlooking the sea.
1pm – Take the Sentosa Sky Train and Head to Resorts World Sentosa
Singapore is mostly hot and humid, so use the Sentosa Express Sky Train and head from Beach Station to Waterway Station.
1:15 pm – Head to the SEA Aquarium
SEA Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums and offers an awesome experience with over 100,000 marine animals of over 1,000 species and spread across 50 different habitats. Check out the SEA Aquarium ticket prices. There are some special experiences offered as well like Shark Encounter, VIP Tour, Diving Programmes, Star Trek adventure and more.
3pm – Time for fun at Universal Studios
Universal Studios in Singapore is an awesome place to be in. Pick up the map listing all the rides and pick and choose the ones you are keen to take. There are loads of shops all over selling souvenirs. There are separate zones like Sci Fi, Jurassic Park etc with not just rides but also lots of shows like the Sesame Street Musical. There is a wide variety of snacks and good food all around.
However if you want to avoid big queues, we suggest you take up the Express Pass which shortens the waiting time for each ride.
7:30pm – Dine at Quayside Isle
Get some rest after the hectic time at Universal Studios by heading to Sentosa Cove. This is a high end residential area with Quayside Isle being the retail and dining destination around.
Summing up, you can opt to spend few days or even a week in Singapore’s Sentosa Island. But you can choose to cover most of the attractions here within a single day as well. It really does not matter how much time you choose to spend here, visiting Sentosa island promises an experience you might never forget.
